Mozart - potato growers - vodka - women at the clamp

This is the first time we have grown the variety Mozart potato that was introduced in 2003 and is an early main crop. Two potato's have been halved to reveal a light yellow flesh. They were excellent last evening roasted with their skins.

Perhaps a grower of this variety in Russia will try them for vodka?

This painting after WD MacKay shows women at the clamp with the man weighing the potatoes into the hessian sacks.  Such work would have done little to enhance the manicures of the women shown here. We have clients who wear gloves when peeling potatoes, and others that purchase them from the supermarket already peeled, and others who pay their staff to do it.
